What happens after you press send
Your customer never creates an account, and never has to be walked through anything.
- Enter the billCustomer name, phone number, amount, and a due date if there is one. That is the whole form.
- They get an SMSCarrying a payment code or a checkout link, depending on which gateway you are connected to.
- They pay their wayIn their banking app with the code, or by card and wallet on the checkout page.
- You see it settleThe request flips to Paid on its own. Reminders stop the moment it does.
What you enter
Five fields, three of them required
It is meant to be faster than writing the invoice was.
- Customer name, so the request is recognisable on both sides
- Phone number — this is the address the request is sent to
- Amount, in the currency your gateway settles in
- A due date, if the bill has one. It drives the reminder schedule
- Your own note or invoice reference, carried through to reporting
Afterwards
Every request stays yours to manage
Sending is one action. Most of the value is in the fortnight after it.
- Filter by pending, paid, overdue or cancelled
- Send a manual reminder, subject to a three-day cooldown
- Mark a bill paid by hand when someone pays you in cash or by transfer
- Cancel a request, which stops its reminders immediately
- Export the lot to CSV for your accountant
Cash and bank transfers still count
Customers pay outside the system all the time. Mark a request paid by hand, with a method and a reference, and it stops chasing them — so your outstanding figure stays true rather than slowly becoming fiction.
